The Bogati are well known for their bad tempers. A Maio once told the Human Alex Rogan that it's best not to trifle with the Bogati, because they love to fight.
When Alex first arrived on Rylos, he accidentally stepped on a Bogati's tentacle, causing the Bogati to become angry with him. When Alex apologized, the Bugati got up and walked away. It may have been likely the Bogati accepted Alex's apology, or was distracted by the looming threat of Xur that he did not have the time nor effort to get in a fight with Alex.
